The Schiffer-Berufskolleg RHEINVocational College for Logistics
offers vocational classes for inland navigators / water pilots / Inland waterway carriers in Germany and Switzerland as well as classes for boat-/ shipbuilders and Specialists in port logistics from all over the country.
The Vocational College for logistics prepares the students for an exam in business / economics, specializing on freight logistics. It also enables students to pass the "Fachhochschulreife", a major high school degree giving admission to Senior Vocational Colleges.
The students receive accommodation as well as specific job training on the Schulschiff Rhein (School Boat Rhein) owned by the Employers’ Association of German Continental Navigators (Arbeitgeberverband der deutschen Binnenschifffahrt).
